Andre Carman, tax and business attorney, recently helped a client who was
behind on their payroll (941) taxes to the IRS. In fact, they were $160,000
in the hole. On Monday morning, Andre received a call that the IRS had
levied (aka garnished) the Company’s payroll bank account. The Company
had $42,000 dollars in the bank for a payroll that was supposed to be
processed that evening. Because of his previous relationship with the
IRS Revenue Officer responsible for the Company’s account collection,
Andre immediately picked up the phone and contacted the Revenue Officer.
After explaining that the IRS’s levy was going to cause severe hardship
to the Company and its clients, the Revenue Officer agreed to lift the
bank account levy. On Tuesday, the very next day, Andre received the following
note from his client:
“Funds are back in our accounts. Thank you so much for all your help!!!
----Blessings. John”
Andre will now help the Company negotiate a monthly installment payment
agreement with the IRS that fits with the Company’s budget so that
they can put their tax problems behind them.
If you or anybody or business you know has tax problems, Andre would be
pleased to
discuss resolution options with them. Andre is available for tax work statewide.
